Actually two winners will be awarded in this voting:
– the best drama of the last season
and
– the best new drama of the last season.

Excluded are:
– productions that did not air at minimum 50% of their episodes between July 1st, 2012 and June 30th, 2013 because they ended, were canceled or pause this season (for example Luther [BBC], Sherlock [BBC], Lilyhammer [FLX] or Magic City [starz]),
– productions that underperformed in this competition (Downton Abbey [ITV], Hemlock Grove [FLX], Banshee [cine], Smash [NBC], Da Vinci’s Demons [starz], Revolution [NBC], The Following [FOX], Defiance [SyFy], The Blue Rose [TV3], Red Widow US [ABC], Army Wives [GLO], Vegas [CBS], Falling Skies [TNT], Suits [USA], Wentworth [SoHo], Whitechapel [ITV], Once Upon A Time [ABC], Strike Back [SKY], House Husbands [nine], Transporter [RTL], Political Animals [USA], The Paradise [BBC], 666 Park Avenue [ABC], Parenthood [NBC], Cult [CW], Rogue [DTV], Zero Hour [ABC], Sinbad [SKY], Nashville [ABC], Hunted [cine], The Mob Doctor [FOX], A Place To Call Home [seven], Continuum [case], Youngers [E4], Haven [SyFy], Revenge [ABC], Spartacus [starz] and others),
– productions that didn’t air enough episodes/minutes (Lightfields [ITV], In The Flesh [BBC]),
– productions that are considered mini-series (American Horror Story [FX], Top of the Lake [sund], The Poison Tree [ITV], Restless [BBC], World Without End [case] and others) and
– productions with a bigger “series” than “serial” dramaturgy (for example The Good Wife [CBS], Longmire [A&E], Royal Pains [USA], The Listener [CTV] or The Mentalist [CBS].
